I finally decided to tackle that fan fiction pile in my inbox. So far, the latest fan fiction to be posted includes Chapters 2 and 3 of "When Worlds Collide;" "The Elf of the North," a Legolas romance; "Out of Exile," a Frodo-Elanor romance; and "My Meeting with the Elves," involving a young hobbit girl's encounter with the Firstborn.
More will be posted today and tomorrow.

I have re-organized Bree. The poll is gone and replaced with a site overview, and the order of meeting the characters has been changed to reflect Tater's picture. This will make navigation for first-time users much easier. Look for more substantial updates this weekend.

Finally, the tech people at our host were able to fix the glitch with Entmoot, and the board is back up again.
Now that this issue has been resolved, we can go back to updating the site. Fan fiction stories have been piling up in my inbox, so I hope to be able to make a major update with them tomorrow.

We were moved to a faster server, but unfortunately there seems to have been a glitch with moving the vBulletin database of Entmoot. The board will be closed until the F5 tech staff can figure this one out and contact me. I think it should be fixed by tonight. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
Some happier news... the latest issue of Yahoo! Internet Life has listed us and the rest of the winners of their "Best Tolkien Sites" contest. This is our third mention in the magazine.
UPDATE: I regret to inform everyone that this error has yet to be resolved. The normal tech support guy seems to be gone for the day at our host, and Paul has been working on it all day to little avail. There are still, for some reason, two versions of the board. "Both" have to remain closed in order to prevent further mass confusion. I'm just as exasperated as the rest of you. I'm really hoping that this can be fixed tomorrow.

Luckily, our last minute adjustments have allowed us to avoid going over our bandwidth limits for January. We'd like to thank Brad Marston of The One Ring Musical for generous financial contributions to help keep the site running. Act I, Scene V is now available for download at the musical's site.
At Entmoot, Sister Golden Hair and Comic Book Guy are now moderators, of Middle-earth/Silmarillion and LotR Books/Movies forums, respectively. Congratulations to both of you.
