You spend a long time at the Entmoot, but it is a wonderful experience. Finally Treebeard tells you, 'I have succeeded in rousing the Ents! We are to march to Isengard and give Saruman and his cursed burarum a piece of our mind!'
You are astonished, but look around and see that it is true. What were sleepy trees were now angry troll-like creatures hellbent on revenge. 'Am I to come with you?' you ask. 'I am looking to meet up with Gandalf again, but I daresay that for a guide, he disappears an awful lot!'
Treebeard muses for awhile then cryptically agrees, 'Indeed he does... and I believe there are others here who would say the same.'
Were there other people here? You had seen nothing but Ents for days. Before you can ask him directly, the old Ent heads off. The Ents begin to sing.
To Isengard! Though Isengard be ringed and barred with doors of stone;
Though Isengard be strong and hard, as cold as stone and bare as bone,
We go, we go, we go to war, to hew the stone and break the door;
For bole and bough are burning now, the furnace roars – we go to war!
To land of gloom with tramp of doom, with roll of drum, we come, we come;
To Isengard with doom we come!
With doom we come, with doom we come!
And to Isengard you go....
