Signature problems i e staying below 500 ch

A function counting the number of characters in the sig during the editing of it would be a terrific addition. Is it possible? Glad to know.

Indeed!...in fact, I think it's a bit much to count individual spaces as "characters"...

...Talk about tough, and yet other people's sigs seem bigger than I can get mine...

When a sig gets too big, I get to not really noticing it anymore. It doesn't really have an impact.

On a serious note--I have to agree: a smaller sig makes more of an impact. I remember back when we had a bunch of people with HUGE sigs. Holy crap. Like, half a -page- would just be their sigs... It was amazing.

The sig limit is usually enough, it's only sometimes a bit difficult when you have a lot of links is your signature.

What you could do is type the text for your signature in Word and copy it from there. Word has a function to count words and characters, so you can easily check whether the text you want to put in your signature is too long or not.

What you could do is type the text for your signature in Word and copy it from there.
