a narnia forum or a c.s. lewis forum?

he was quite a bit more diverse than tolkien, so unless you make it strictly narnia, it could get all over the place (i.e. out of the silent planet, etc.)

i vote maybe

Yes - but can't decide if it should be Narnia only, or include other CSL works ... Perhaps mostly Narnia, but ok to start threads on other works - forum title of "Narnia and more" or something like that so the focus is on Narnia but other works allowed, too?

I like the idea that we could talk about more than Narnia, but agree that the focus should primarily be Narnia.

(I already voted so this shouldn't count again. )

What about a Forum for CS Lewis and subforums for Narnia and Other Lewis books?

i think the point was to cover narnia, in part due to the popularity of the movie... c.s. lewis has many other works of a religious nature that are probably best left discussed in the general section

yes, that's what I was thinking.

Maybe call the forum "Narnia and the North!" after Bree's favorite saying (Bree the horse from Narnia, not Bree the town in LOTR)

C.S. Lewis and Narnia. I'd like to discuss some other works of his too...Mere Chirstianity, the space trilogy, etc. And interesting points about his life, family and friends. Just a Narnia forum is like having Just a LotR Movie forum.

How about, C.S. Lewis' life AND Fictional works. and his religious works can be discussed in gen literature. (though everything of his deserves its place in there.)

Well to settle matters of Forum denomination here's a option; Choose one:

1 - Narnia.

2 - Narnia And Other Works.

3 - CS Lewis And His World.

4 - The Works of CS Lewis.

...what thing ye?

out of the silent planet, etc. would be cool too, but things like "mere christianity" are the type i was thinking were best left to general... way to much room for heated discussion in that kind of work that would soon branch off in all kind of non-literary directions

which is why, in the end, probably just "narnia (books and movies)" would be better, since it is a forum inspired by the movie (much like the lotr movie forum)... i'd think the books and movies alone would be more than enough

Right. I see what you mean.
So, since we have plenty of religion threads in GM, JUST his life and Narnia.

And his scholarly writings, like The Allegory of Love?

(I'm not just trying to be difficult )
