New User Titles

With ezboard 5.6, there are now more User titles. Currently, the user rankings are as follows:

Sapling: 0-3 posts
Hobbit: 3-50 posts (I'm not sure yet if the Hobbit rank kicks in on the third or fourth post)
Entling: 50-100 posts
Elven Warrior: 100-500 posts
Elf Lord: 500+ posts

Moderators and admins might have different titles. Currently it's Huorn for mod and Ent, Master of the Forest for admin, but whatever the title is, it will also say Mod or Admin so you can identify them.

Is it only the number of posts on Entmoot that counts? How can I know how many posts I have on Entmoot alone when I have a global account?
Is anyone an elf-lord yet?

Hehe. No, currently there is no way to tell exactly how many posts you have at Entmoot alone, although if you're a global user that's all that counts towards the title.

I guess most of you seem to be Elven Warriors, 100-500 posts

There aren't any Elf Lords yet, because the people who have more than 500 posts here are all moderators or admins!

That's what I thought, Ben. I'm not sure I want to be an elf lord, anyway... Could you make a feminine equivalant if and when I ever get that far?

Yes. In addition to levels that you reach automatically, there are custom titles. Note that anduin is an Entwife for example. However, using a custom title will get rid of the automatic increases in rank, so for now I've tried to make the ranks gender-neutral. Of course since Elf Lord is the final rank I'd be more than hapy to change it to Elven Lady or something when you reach that .

I wish there were some option where I could see how many posts each person had at the board, but I just know that you have between 100 and 500. You could have anywhere from 101 to 499

Hehe. I checked, so far there are only 6 Elven Warriors, but that only applies to people who have posted since yesterday when I made the titles. So Elanor might very well be an Elf Lord, but she hasn't posted recently so she just shows up as a Sapling in my control center. As soon as someone posts, they'll gain their appropriate rank. Here are the ranks as of July 6th:

Supreme Ent (board creator): bmilder
Ent, Master of the Forest (admin): anduin (title: Entwife), Darth Tater
Huorn (mod): IronParrot, The One Ring, Son of a Hutt (hasn't posted in awhile)
Elf Lord: none yet
Elven Warrior (100-500): captain Tarpols, emilsson, Eruve, etherealunicorn, Fat Middle, juntel
Enting (50-100): arynetrek, noldo (title: Elven Icon Maker )
Hobbit (3-50): galpsi, HOBBIT, mhomer4, RKittle, Spock1, Stiegl
Sapling: everyone else

Oh you're right... ok new rule: If you purposely spam with the intent to get your ranking up, your rank will be permanently changed to "Smelly Orc"!

Should I close the name game then?

good! i´d like to see some Smelly Orcs

but don´t close the name game. it´d hurt Eruve, who has been always faithful to that thread

and you´d proof a thankless (is that a word?) one for you´d be forgetting all what Entmoot debts to noe worders
