My quarters are located on the East side of the city on the fifth level. I have the elvish inscription for "friend" on the outside doorpost. If you cannot read elvish, I would be honored to escort you. If you can manage yourself, I must escort the Emperor back to the Great Hall.

"I am elvish. I can manage. You must tend to the Steward's guest. We shall meet again, Albus." I make my way to the East side of the City then to the fifth Ring. I find the door post inscribed with "Melloc". I wonder why the Steward has asked the Emperor of the North to Gondor.

Narac the Fountain Guard glimpsed a shadow slinking through the day. Raising his spear, he called, "Who is it?"
"Hsssss!" the wraithlike figure hissed.
In fact, it was a wraith. As it stretched out its hand, Narac fell to the ground, smitten by a cloud of dark magic. The wraith passed on, and Narac awoke some time later. He immediately decided to find the intruder.

Drake did not hear the figure approaching until it had him by the neck. He felt an overpowering sensation overcome him. He felt his resistance fading...
"Where isss the ring?" the shadow hissed. "Where isss it?"
Drake, feeling his ebbing strength, made a desperate grab for his sword.
"Gondor..." he tried to shout.

Narac rounded a corner, and heard the confrontation. The wraith would not escape him this time. He readied his spear, and advanced toward the sounds.

Hearing noises of struggle, I leave Albus' quarters. I see a guard advancing toward a wraith. The Wraith had someone around the neck. I bound to the wraith, knowing who it is.

"Let him be!" I shout, an arrow trained at the wraith.

Shrieking, the shadow slid away and fled, ducking the elf's arrow! Narac, Drake, and Acalewia looked at each other.
"What's happening?" asked Narac. "What was that thing?"
