Gandalf

Does this include the dragon, or only those who required a pipe?

Next question

I feel unworthy of such a generous compliment, but thank you, Markedel *bows*

What celestial event defines Durin's Day?

Seven Stars apear in the mirrormere or something like that. "Durin's Crown" it is called.

Nice try but sorry, markedel. Durin's Day is the start of the Dwarves' New Year, and its marked by a celestial event. It's in The Hobbit.

The sun and the moon can be seen in the sky together.

Which character puts a severed head on a post?

Extra credit: Who's head was it?

Was it Beorn? I think the head was from some goblin, but I'm not sure which.

yeah but this is only in The Hobbit.

Incanus i love your user name! one of Gandalf's names, if i recall correctly, what he was called in the...West? the elves called him Mithrandir, the Dwarves Tharkun, in his youth he was Olorin, to the West he is Incanus, in the North he is Gandalf, and to the East he goes not. ok that was really random, but

Beorn - it was the head of a Goblin and the skin of a wolf - when he was finding out that part of Gandalfs story was true

Since I got the answer right first, do I get to ask a question? Okay, what instrument did Bifur(sp?) play?

Bifur played a clarinet. Bofur played one too.

Correct answer and correct spelling, ladyisme, although Gandalf referred to him simply as "my good cousin Radagast."

Your turn to ask a question.

theories are that he is descended from the great and ancient bears of the mountains, or that he is descended from the first men, that came before Smaug or the goblins. Gandalf believes the second theory, that he is descended from the early men, to be the true tale.
