Yay! I'm so excited! Thanks a lot! No more Grands Biscuit pizza for me. Well, maybe! No hurry- I don't want to be troublesome.

I'd like to see the recepie too. Cool. I should ask my mom for her pizza recepie.

Hey JD, feel like having pizza tonight?

How about a roast?

Well, give is a list of ingredients for this so-called "real" pizza, and make approximate guesses. I'd be interested in trying it.

Now for a nice main course with Meat!

Trimlestown Roast Sirloin
  • 1 (3 pound) sirloin roast
  • 2 ounces whiskey
  • 10 ounces red wine
  • 1 ounce butter
  • 2 ounces flour
  • Salt and pepper

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
-Wipe meat, season and place in a roasting pan. Place pan in oven and bake for one hour.
-Add the whiskey and wine to the pan. Cook for a further hour, basting once more.
-Remove the roast from the pan, place on a serving dish and keep warm.
-Pour off excess fat from the meat juices, adding water to bring to about 15 ounces.
-Beat the butter into the flour to form a smooth paste.
-Add a little of the juices to this and mix well, then pour onto juices, mixing again, and bring to the boil.
-Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes to cook flour.
-Correct the seasoning. If the sauce is too thick, add a little more water.

-Serve separately in a gravy boat.

I think I'm going to make pizza for the last time this year (well until the winter comes around, unless someone comes out to visit, then I might make it for them). Anyway - I can at least try seeing how much flour I use and I can post the recipe for it.

I'm hooked on grilled chicken (boneless, skinless) on salad with Fat Free Ranch......I've like lost soooo much weight with this meal...I throw in steamed vegi's, the occasional sour-dough slice, and of course a beer! This is my super secret diet meal (I eat little to nothing, mostly drinks until dinner than feast! Very busy ya know, quite important and all that......stop looking at me like that, Nurv....I am too.....hmph!

its a type of curry dish, served in a balti dish and of a particularly profound style - it takes slightly longer than 90 seconds to cook though

no english curry house can do a balti justice, if you wanna proper balti, take a trip to hindustan (N India), trust me, it's well worth it, although when i was in delhi, i had a lovely sabji dhansak, mmmm

.... suffering from JD syndrome... but 2 things chrys! balti is not necessarilly mild .. its authentic how you like it... and ok i'm sure its great over there, but where iam over there is over here and its F'in superb, theres a whole international marketing sub-system here for the 'Balti-belt' and take my word you can get superb baltis' here:

best BB,

this is a JD syndrome edit post - beware this infectious viral on-line disease - ot could strike you next!

sounds like it would go good with beer...count me in

*EDIT Stardate 06.23.05 -- Background Music = Galaxy Quest Theme song*

I'm here without being here, rather this transcending loop of backward projection is clyde-stopping my ability to be both present and a written voice from the past...thus I am posting, while not posting, great dribble of imaginary importance.....

Uh, as with all my post....when read, it is best served with a thick beer...499 bottles of good thick beer are even better

True, I once traveled from the sofa to the kitchen counter where a pesky platter of snicker-doodle cookies was calling me.....later, I decided it had been worth traveling the expanse of floor space…..my waist line had also become a thing of “expanse”…lol

errr....I'm not a spammer, I say, I'm not......phooey!

How did your cheese turn out? Edible? Good with toast? Shaped for 5-pocket Pants? Is Kraft Cheese soon to be beaten by competition? Let us hope...
