Hobbits
Hehe, I'm pretty sure it was discussed too many times, but I'll ask once again - where did they came from (not geografic location). What are the roots of the race?

Hobbits were a branch of Men. I think not very much more can be said about their origin.

I don't know their exact origin but I remeber that my dad said something that had to do with their being called haflings. He said they're called haflings because their half something and half something else. I'm not sure but I think they're half man.
