I'm going to be the bad poster now by saying I do't like most of their music. The repititious chords make listening to the song more than two or three times painful. I like some of their calmer music, without the screaming. And I usually don't mind the screaming. They try to hard to be individual, and funny IMHO.

Now that I am gone, you may not bash me, for I will check. And if you bash me...I'm in your closet

they dont try to hard to be individual. they express themselves against all the bad in society. they talk about the armenian genocide and desert strorm all those things. and ill be checkin my closet. oh yea LT the song was called P.L.U.C.K. (politicaly lying unholy cowardly killers)

Have you seen the war protest video, Boom? I have it taped. I always thought it was called genocide, its the last track on their first album. Whatever its called, its a killer song.

the spiders video is awesome but i dont kno why in the sugar video the drummer john is wearing a gas mask.

Actually, I think a pooka is an evil Irish spirit that usually takes the form of a horse.

o well each band player did one cover for the cd.serj did some writing, daron a picture of legs, shavo did some flames and john did a skull. theres also the normal one. so they have four different cds and one normal one.

Phooka is a shape shifter, I read that somewhere, but the most popluar form is a black goat, or a black stallion. As horse form, It takes mortals on it's back & bucks them off cliffs & such. They seem friendly...
As goat form, people usually think phookas are demons sent from satan.

I don't really like nu-metal bands, but I can tolerate System of a Down. They are better than most nu-metal.
