Uh, you misunderstood the question. It's not that YOUR pants best represent Tolkien, but what kind of pants YOU feel represent Tolkien. (And here Pants = Trousers.) Tsk, tsk. Another candidate with abysmal Tolkien-related skills, i.e., Reading Comprehension. *shakes head*

Why, not at all! Simply 're-inventing' the question... considered quite the thing to do in politics these days!

I'm sorry but you guys won't be getting my vote. I don't think you have what it takes to represent Tolkien. ::shrug::
Actually, I don't think anyone but Tolkien himself could represent the genius. But hey, that's just me.

Exactly! - except it isn't just you. It's silly for us to all try and 'out-Tolkien' one another!

And what's the 'litmus test'?? Must one hate the films in order to 'best' represent Tolkien? Must one wear tweed trousers? Must one refer to 'Eagle and Child' as 'B & B'??

Where will it all end??

Well I agree with that. Each Mooter is (1) a fan of Tolkien and (2) representing Tolkien by posting at this board. No one is claiming to be the sole representative here.

I think breeches would be the pants best representing Tolkien. I believe he described himself as being a Hobbit in all but height. (That's a paraphrase.)

NO I'M NOT VIOLENT YOU LITTLE... PERSON!

*sniffle* It's that I have a simple complex. But besides that we're off topic I think... I'm not really sure .

*crosses legs*

All right, so how do you all feel about gun controll?

*hops to other chair and flashes a toothy and fake smile*

Well Stan, I feel that yes, guns should be controllable. I'd hate to shoot myself in the foot.

Lol Tessar.

Gun registry, well, the program we have in Canada is sadly not working very well. I think it's an excellent idea in theory, but it doesn't appear to work well in practice. However, maybe another country has a better system of implementing this idea.

What? You mean people can't control their guns?!!?!

Time to bring up the 'leash' law again I think! People should NOT be walking around without their gun on a leash!

In UK, guns have just been banned completely, except air rifles, and things like that,
but even this policy doesn't work!!
