I created my country. It won't let me get to the Change Regions page, but I will when I can.

My economy is a basket case. Bah. I never liked economy anyway. () And it's all in fun, so I made it a bit more liberal than I am. (Yes, that's possible.)

So, is there going to be a lot of political strife? What've we got with regard to liberal/conservative?

I named mine, 'Most Serene Republic of Albrester'. Where I got 'Albrester' is a long story, but if you must know it comes from a baffling website to be found here.

No - the goal is not to have a lot of politcal strife. It should be kept fun. There could be some political discussions - but hopefully nothing that will result in war or people leaving the continent. We need to work together to make our continent great.

What've we got with regard to liberal/conservative?

LutraMage and I are more conservative. Jonathan is unhappy with his nation because his ended up not following his political beliefs and is too liberal (he has private corporations banend. ) Everyone else I think is on the liberal side.

On the left hand side you should have a link under your country name - "Pacific" click on that and then it will bring you to the region page. Click on "move to new region" and enter in "The Great Continent of Entmoot" This should bring you to our page where to join you have to supply a password - "swedenusa"

Since I created the continent - I didn't have to do this - so if this is incorrect can someone who has actually gone through this - help Gimli out?

The Federation of Nurvingieldania is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, remarkable for its devotion to social welfare. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 5 million love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Healthcare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 48%, but much higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Information Technology.

Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Nurvingieldania's national animal is the squirrel, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the tree.

Now I'll just join the Entmoot continent and we'll be all set!
