I know pretty much everything about star wars. ask me anything you have ever wanted to know about it. I really love to ansewer things like 'how did the sith get there name' but anything is good. No behind the sceans questians please.

Well during the old republic theh sith held there main base on Korriban. In fact they were called dark jedi before that. They came there and met a red skined race called the sith. They tought them light saber combat and mated with them forming the sith. So in fact the sith are some what of a race. as for the name.... There were quite a few great duelers living there. Even the great Exar Kun himself may have dueled there. And of course to this day the sith lords ghosts live in there tombs deep below korriban.
