I had a dream once that I was an Elf who lived in Lothlorien, and I was there when the Fellowship came through Lorien.
I fell in love with Frodo in the dream . . . although that was nothing new. I eventually turned that dream into a pathetic fanfic, actually. . .

oh man i dream every night. crazy dreams, too.

i had one where i was in a hedge maze. i was trying to find the new house that i had got so i could live with my mum, but i was lost. then liv tyler comes along on horseback in a red dress speaking in quenya. i tried to tell her that she couldn't know quenya, because it was all scripted for her, and that i couldn't accept her help becuase she was false. the rest of the dream was really sad, but irrelevant to lotr...

i've had others. always integrated into complex and incoherent plot lines that are my dreams. and yeah i've had some more pleasant dreams with orlando bloom present

Well, at least I'm one of those "lucky" people who don't have "pleasant" dreams. I just have unexplainably weird ones.

I had so many dreams that my parents or my friends gave me a whole set of Tolkien books. But after many times of waking up in disappoint, I eventually get to the point where anytime I see myself getting Tolkien books, I would instantly knew it was a dream. Two nights ago, I dreamed my parents gave me a brand new set of LOtR for my birthday , I just stared at them and yawned:" What, again? Like I don't it's a dream!" And they all vanished in a puff, and I fell back to sleep again.
Hey..........................

Once after reading the 2nd book, I had a dream about being chased by orcs and everything and Mount Doom was in it!! It was then that I realised that it was not a good idea to read it before i went to bed!!! Meanwhile I still do !!!

Arathorn:
I don't really remember his size, but I don't remember him short. He was Sean Astin but with Sam's personallity.
Evenstar:
I read Lord of the Rings before I go to bed too, but I sort of hope that they will give me LOTR dreams, because they're usually very interesting

oh Sister Golden Hair..

<pinch>

oh Evenstar...

Next time, perhaps you may want to keep reading until you get to a more pleasant part.

I had a dream after watching the LotR movie. I dreamed a scene out of it, the scene where Gandalf tosses the ring in to the Bag End fire, and when Frodo holds it he says he sees some form of Elvish. I don't remember much of the dream though, only that the hobbits were running in circles all over the place. I think I need therapy. I'm going too hobbit-mad.

I had a dream a few nights ago....its sort of scary that I sctually had a dream about something this stupid, but....
I was at the movies and watching Return of the King. I was all excited about the beginning where Sam sings his little song (I love that song)....it was going okay, but then when the song started, Sam started to do the can can with a bunch of orks. I cried. (In my dream)
I need help

I had my first LOTR related dream last night.

I was at the second movie, which came out 10 months early, so everyone was REALLY excited. I don't remember anything about the movie except the title was OT (don't ask me what that stands for) instead of TTT. Probably because I haven't read the book.

Could it be: "Other Tower"?

I've had Lord of the Rings related dreams several times. Three times I dreamed I was taking the ring to Mount Doom to destroy it. Twice I was Frodo with Sam assisting me. Once I was Sam which was actually worse because I felt the responsibilty of getting the ring destroyed but Frodo had the ring and I was afraid he wasn't going to make it. Each dream was so real---the dragging weariness, the choking dust, the impossibility of the task...

The other Lord of the Rings related dream I had was really cool. I dreamed I was fighting an evil wizard who had killed my father. I was holding out against him but I was getting weaker and weaker and then I lost my sword. Suddenly I was whisked away to Rivendell and there were elves all around me. One of them took me and taught me fighting techniques (it was as if time stood still while I was there.) Then Elrond came and gave me a new sword and a pendant with an opal-like stone in it and said,"If you are not afraid you will not be defeated. You must have courage, do not lose your sword and do not fear defeat." The other elves did not speak but I could feel them wishing me well and telling me to be courageous. Then I was transported back to the wizard and I was able to defeat him. The really odd thing was that this dream was symbolic for me of some things that were going on in my life at the time and it really helped me.

No, no don't commit me to the asylum for Tolkien nuts....

Hey, I just realized that my description of my pendant sounded a lot like yours, Rogue Elf. I promise I didn't borrow from you, that's how it really was in my dream. Kind of uncanny!

Yeah, I've had dreams... one was with Orlando Bloom.

I was a famous actress and we were filming a movie together. We hit it off right away and became best friends. We started dating, but we decided not to tell anyone. Then we got married. We still didn't tell anyone, and our publicists told everyone that we attended all the events together because we wanted the paparazzi to think we were seeing each other, when actually, we were seeing other people. SO no one bothered us. THen one year we were both up for Oscars and we decided that if we both won, we'd tell eveyone. We did.

Another dream after I saw the movie, gollum chasing me calling "Come back with my precious!"

I had another weird dream the two days ago which was something like this:

Im walking in some strange place. the air is cool and I see a huge lake surrounded by lush green grass. There are hills nearby. I turn around to see a weird Numenorean guy, and he is dressed in the clothes of a Gondorian soldier( i think), complete with the helmet with wings sticking out.

Me: Where am I?
Weirdo: Annuminas. This is Lake Evendim (Im not kidding! I really dreamt this!)
Me:?????!!!!!!
