Hobbit Petition

I am an advocate for PJ doing a movie for The Hobbit, and I know there are other Mooters out there who feel the same. So, my question was, what can we do about it? how do we express our opinions to Mr. Jackson? Then i thought, why not write a letter. However, only one letter wouldn't make much difference, and might not even reach him. But if i could find others who could aid me in flooding his mail with petitions from all over the world, asking him to consider it, then we might have a chance. We can organize our thoughts here, and count how many people would be willing to do it. Then, at roughly the same time, we can each mail a letter to PJ expressing our love of his work and how happy we would be if he would make the movie.

If you would be willing to do this, even to write a postcard saying "please make the Hobbit movie", then i would greatly appreciate your support. also, i don't know PJ's mailing address, so if anyone knows it or would be willing to search for it on the internet, please post it here.

???
Do you mean making a bunch of people wear dwarf makeup would be cruel? I thought maybe we could ask PJ to do the whole thing with CG (maybe w/ live action scenery, like in the movie "Dinosaur"). Then they could keep Ian Holm as Bilbo, instead of replacing him w/ a younger actor.

No, I mean that PJ does not have a good track record with taking Dwarves seriously.

Shall we make a formal petition?
Seems more people don't want PJ to make the Hobbit than to make it.

Nobody else was willing to tarnish their career if it was a flop

(beside PJ got the actors to work for Lembas)

Is that due to the secret fantasy of all NZ girls to murder their mothers ? This comment is of course only valid if I'm thinking of the right movie - it was the one with Kate Winslet about the 2 psycho girls & one kills her mommy or summin? If so, yer right, but seems all else he touches turns to ...
