 heh. I figured since I've been lurking around again for a while, I might as well come to this thread. I first found this place when I was 16 or so, which is, well, about 10 years ago.  I might be returning now to get my Tolkien fix - I haven't got my books at the new apartment yet... we are in serious need of at least one more bookshelf, lol.So... It's good to see you guys & gals, and it's good that I can still recognize some of the names.

Wow, September 2002! plus a little time lurking, but not much, really - I was just so excited to find a Tolkien discussion board
 ANNNyway, just wanted to put up a post to (hopefully) welcome a new member soon - I was at my daughter's physical therapy session today and discovered one of the employees there is a fellow Tolkien lover, complete with a Tengwar/Sindarin tattoo around her ankle! I gave her the addy of this board, and I hope she joins in soon She's read LOTR and Hobbit and the Sil, but hasn't heard of the HoME books, so she's in for a treat!
