The J.R.R. Tolkien Handbook

I just got this book called The J.R.R. Tolkien Handbook A Concise Guide to His Life, Writings, and World of Middle Earth.
It was written by a guy named Colin Duriez, who "has written and lectured extensively on Tolkien and Lord of the Rings ."

Anyway, my question was has anybody else ever heard of this book?

A good test - see who it says the father of Gil-Galad is If the author hasn't really studied extensively, it will say Fingon.

I have it; or at least, I used to. I'm not sure if it's made the last few moves. But I found it to rather interesting. It was written about Tolkien, and had a number of references to his life, people important to him, etc., as well as concepts in the Lord of the Rings, and names, places, etc. It was a good book indeed.
