Roverandom

I finally got my hands on a copy. I've JUST begun to read it.

Anyone else read this lost gem of Tolkien's?

No, no I'd never heard of Roverandom 'til I read your thread here, Finrod, so I Googled Roverandom & came upon this most excellent comprehensive review of the book, (yes, anything to maneuvre my way out of this bloody spring-break dreaded research project, heh) and I know now what I have to do: I have to get this book. No two ways about it. Must. Have. Book.

Here's the review; don't worry my peeps, it's quite safe to click on, just a strat link to a serious review of Roverandom -

Gah, I knows I gotta wait for the 90 secs to kick in before I can reply to this...

Anyway, I'm a sad pathetic wannabe tolkien fan. I've had this sitting in my bookshelf for years now, and I haven't read it. I got it whilst I was in my tolkien-kick, and I read straight through Letters, and HoME, and UT, and Farmer Giles of Ham, so that by the time I finally got to roverandom, I'd reached my threshold. I WILL read it one of these days, I swear I will...

Lemme know what you think of it, eh?

If you have the chance, do read it! It's such a sweet and funny little fairytale. Here's a link to the last thread about Roverandom, then you can read what other people have said about it.

Yeah its a great little read, I'd like to buy it, I found it at my library last summer, great kids book...or adult book as far as it goes.
