Wow. The name of that post is pretty misleading. When you read "Guillermo del Toro Confirms Hobbit 3D," what does it lead you to think? That the director has confirmed a definitive decision that the movie will be 3D. It does not bring to mind:

Anyway, disappointment. Insert generic rant about whoredom and pandering, and hope that nothing will come of these en (!) quiries.
