I wonder if that wouold help at all, in encouraging him to make one (Probably not, because if he was going to make the movie noone could stop him *eyes mooters with evil looks in eyes and knives in hands*. Ok, almost no one could stop him ).

Ah, but the interpretation I don't mind. It's the changes, especially the additions, when he was so pressed for time and needed to squeeze as much in as possible, and for the same reason the extension of the battle scenes.

Knives? How primitive.

Let him do a hobbit movie. You ain't never going to get a movie that is just to everybody's taste, but the movie is not supposed to be the book (that's why Entmoot has two different Forums for the LoTR book and film) - if it gets more people introduced to the book, then why not?

"Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends."

"Very well,' he answered aloud, lowering his sword. 'But still I am afraid. And yet, as you see, I will not touch the creature. For now that I see him, I do pity him."

Another year's gone by, and I was thinking once again,
How can I take this losing hand and somehow win?

Just give me One Good Year To get my feet back on the ground.
I've been chasing grace; Grace ain't so easily found
One bad hand can devil a man, chase him and carry him down.
I've got to get out of here, just give me One Good Year!
