Yes indeed, forgive the use of jargon. Again, though, I'm interested in your opinion- you would seem to be a natural fit for the Narnia stories.

My favorites switch so often with Narnia, but my most constant favorite is The Silver Chair. I think more than anything it's the atmosphere that is the main protagonist in that book. And I adore the Hamlet references that Lewis makes via Rillian .

Also very fond of The Last Battle. Then Ending of Narnia has some very powerful imagery (not all original to Lewis, I understand), and in that book also I think the atmosphere is the real protagonist.

I think my favorite book is Prince Caspian. I'm always one for nostalgia, and the first few chapters are chock-full of it. The whole leaving-Narnia-thing and coming back after thousands of Narnian years have passed and finding your old home and your old things and seeing the results of your actions? I like it. It probably ties with The Last Battle. The way that one ends is exquisite.

Other than specific books, I pretty much love EVERY Narnia scene that involves Aslan. I'm not much of one for battles and swords and everything, but Aslan is worth all of it in every book.

Magician's nephew.

Did anyone ever ask C.S. Lewis about the other worlds in the wood?

I've got the collection of his Letters, but I haven't read them all, so I don't know.

But I guess that he didn't make any stories about any of them other than the ones that were about or connected to Narnia.
