I think they were about to roast 'em then C3PO levitated becasue Luke was using the Force on him. The ewoks got scared and untied them.

Nothing wrong that I see with destroying Gungans and silly outfits, but really, it's such a nice, pretty planet, I'd hate to see it blow up! Though if I were choosing where to live, I'd pick Dagobah...more my kind of place
