Star Wars: Episode 2: Attack of YODA!!!!!!!

Saw Episode 2 Wednesday at 7:30 at an advanced screening.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yoda kicks ass!!!!!!!!!! Yoda kicks ass!!!!!! Yoda is the man!!!!!!!!! Yoda rules!!!!!!!!

The lightsaber battles in The Phantom Menace are to the lightsaber battles in Attack of the Clones as the lightsaber battles in A New Hope are to the lightsaber battles in The Phantom Menace!!! Wait, no, it's even more extreme then that!!!!! You have never ever ever seen sword play like this!!!!

The movie starts out slow. Actually, that's not entirely true. More like there are pacing issues in the beginning and middle. But my good god, the payoff is incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My God!! The direction in that fight scene was astounding!!

Prepare to have the other movies blown out of the water by it.

And Anakin's fight scene with Dooku... OMG. Isn't that the best piece of directing you've seen in a LONG time?! The flashes from the face, to the light saber action, and then when he weilded TWO light sabers....

Personally, I cracked up when he did that thing with his fingers the way Golden Harvest actors do.

Then when he force-pulled his staff back to his hand and started walking slowly again after that big scene. HILARIOUS!!!

He is WAY TOO HUMBLE in V and VI.

*Wonders if there are other creatures of his species left*

I love the way he controls the lightening and spins around with the lightsabre, and when he is teaching the kids.

Isnt there another of Yoda's race in the Jedi order?

There's a DLP theater in Elizabeth, but I'm told it might be easier to go to the one in NYC. But whichever one, I will go eventually to see it in DLP.
