thanx but i think i'd still see it again, trailer, or no trailer. the trailer just makes it more likely, plus i'm reading ttt for the first time so it would make the trailer, i guess, more meaningful, or something like that. just seeing pics on the internet made my cry! i really don't know why i cried, but i did

. my heart beats out of my chest just thinking about ttt movie, i'm really hoping they don't leave out the Oliphaunt in the movie, i just read that chap and loved it! I would have to say it's my fav chap (so far).

Take back my last post. I (stupidly) thought you were talking about the Star Wars trailer. Considering this is the SW thread, it is a reasonable mistake, I guess. It is definitely worth it to see the trailer!! It is incredible! For more of my insane babbling about how good it is, see the thread about concerning the TT trailer in the LotR movies. . .

that was my mistake. i was just looking at pics of ttt so everything to me was about ttt inless they went right out and said "this is not about ttt!"
thanx Khamûl!i'm really into the oliphaunt, i don't know exactly y. I like things that arn't that much of a big deal alot, like my one of my fav ppl (well not exactly ppl) in tfort movie was Bill the poney, not sam, not gandalf (though i did like him alot), Bill the poney who has no part and if someone didn't point him out i wouldn't ever even noticed him.

My friend suggested that we (right as the movie is starting) stand up in front and start doing a little 'skit' or whatever you want to call it, of the movie (SW). Something like this:
(melodramatically)"Amidala, I love you!"
(also melodramatically) "Anakin, I love you!"
"Alas, for I am a Jedi, and I cannot love!"
"We'd be living a lie."
"Uh, oh, the Jedis are dying, but I love you, so I'll turn evil!"

Or something like that. . .

I change my mind about the romance - after seeing the imitation of it (which was funny) it comes across rather goofy

It probably will be goofy. I read somewhere that people were sniggering during the sneak previews. Still, I'll put up with that goofiness to see the movie. According to Lucas, the "older fans" said that 3PO talked too much in ESB, disliked the ewoks in ROTJ, and hated Jar Jar in TPM. I was okay with all those things.
The goofiness of those mushy lines in AOTC may diminish when they're seen in context with the rest of the movie, but it probably won't totally fade. It'll just give us something to talk about and make fun of until the next movie comes out with something else we don't like.

I was certainly one of those sniggering during the previews...and praying for a lack of Jar Jar.

I figure I can sleep through the romance and just watch the polotics and the fight scenes.

Especially the fight scenes.

the romance really wasn't as bad as i thought it would be! that movie kicked butt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so did yoda! It was so much better then all the other SW (in my opinion)!
