But it doesn't seem that destroying the Sith would bring balance to the Force; balance means equal weight on both sides, after all.

An end to the Sith seems to me to be rather shifting the power more towards the Light Side.

yeah, pretty sad, the clones disbanded around christmas and many haven't reported back in, they wer'ent right in the head anyway, we used an experimental process on em, plus they were leftovers. Had to let the Gran mercs go too, those things don't come cheap.

I hope the all knowing Star Wars dude is still around cause something's been bugging me since I saw Episode 3. A few things actually. I know 3PO's memeory was wiped after E3 but R2's was still intact so why then does Obi and R2 for that matter don't seem to know each other? I mean come on. I could see Obi maybe forgetting the name of the R2 unit that got his head ripped off in the space battle but R2 was Ani's sidekick, was around all the time, and saved their butts more than once.

We know that Yoda and Chewwy were pals and later Luke was Chewwy's pal so why didn't ol' Chewwy ever grunt, "Hey, I know a guy who has force powers like you. A little green dude named Yoda." I know he wouldn't have any idea of where Yoda was hiding but he would still know of him.

Oh, and Ani was the chosen one cause Luke didn't do squat to destroy the Sith. I think he had the potential to become a more powerful Jedi then Ani was but the training Yoda gave Luke was nothing compared to the training Ani got from Obi.

Why didin't Obi Wan know R2. Easy enough to answer: He did. However, he had already became a liar by this time He simply said this to further hide the truth about Luke's father.

What's the back story on Darth Maul? Was he actually a Jedi once or did Palpatine just run across him somewhere? Who's Master Syfa Dias(sp?)? Could he have been Darth Maul before he was actually Darth Maul? I mean, I know Count Dooku's sith name was Tyranus and he was the one who recruited Jango Fett for the clones but who actually put the order in?

I've got a question too, what were the names of those republic battleships that looked like star distroyers?

Both the ones in eps. 2 & 3

I disagree. I think Obi always acknowledged that Yoda was the better teacher. Ani was the chosen one because of his era...there was a specific time that the balance was at risk, and Luke just hadn't been born then.

I think, effectively, he completed his father's mission when he reclaimed him, though.
