Close but I am looking for the specific two people Man and Elf and their two offspring.

However, my question may be forfiet because even though Legolas made the statement about Imrahil in ROTK. The answer to my question is not found in the text of ROTK.

Does this violate the rules?

She was kown as dernhelm because of her exclaimation when she realized that the rider's headgear was heavy and obscured her sight.

Yes! The answer needs to be in the book stated. Check out the rules at the beginning of FoTR trivia.

Unfortunately it breaks the rules.

Questions and answers have to come from ROTK.

Nimrodel's maiden Mithrellas and Imrazor of Nuemenor are the elven/human connection. I don't remember the children because I don't have my Book of Lost Tales in front of me.

...Well you worked on that for nought. As Lizra, Rhadgast et. al. have stated, the questions and answers MUST be found in ROTK so the question A.E. asked wasn't in conformity with the rules of the game.

Yes indeed. Go ahead as you worked so hard to get an answer to a question that was improper. It is now your turn. Remember question and answer must be from ROTK.

Good luck.

Where was the sapling of the white tree (of the line of Nimloth the fair) found by Aragorn?

pippin had a guide to show him around Minus Tirith, in whose mind he went up in stature as he knew the passwords. What was the guides name and who gave pippin the passwords.

It's late and I thought a compound question would be received well.

Sleep well.

That would be Beregond son of Baranor. "I have no duty this morning, and I have been sent to teach you the passwords, and to tell you some of the many things that no doubt you will wish to know".

I am quite certain that I was first to reply only because I was the only poster up even later than anyone else.

well you are half right. Beregond taught the passwords and they had long speech but you missed the second part. Try again I'm sure you'll get it.

Spock, you mean that Beregond was the one who guide him or the one who gave him the passwords?

WELL YOU GUYS SEEM TO HAVE TROUBLE WITH COMPOUND QUESTIONS SO I'LL GIVE IT TO YOU.

"in whose mind he went up in stature" was Bergil who went around with Pippin.

OK SO SOMEONE ELSE CAN GO NOW.

I did think Bergil is the answer. You just had to explain what you wrote before. You get annoyed too fast. I guess it's hama1's turn now.

..gads you guys are more sensitive than me. I sometimes keep the caps key on so as to keep the eye glasses off!!
Also in this case it was meant as a highlight to catch attention to the fact that you could go with a question.
.......sigh....

If the issue of Bergil v beregond is still in dispute I defer to spock to ask another question. If however, as others have mentioned above that I should give it a go, well...here goes...

This is one of my favorite quotes from ROTK...

"It needs but one foe to breed a war, not two...and those who have not swords can still die upon them."

Name the character who spoke that line.
