OK - I remember that the Fellowship left Rivendell on December 25. Aragorn and Arwen were wed the following Mid-year's Day (about July 1, by those ME calendars) - but he was already King then. I'll guess his coronation was May 1 - so it would be about 4 months and maybe 8 days - since all the months have 30 days and we'd have had 2 Yule days just after Dec 30. So Lotesse is right about there... if I'm correct on the May 1 coronation.

The Appendix ones are always hard, both to guess correctly AND to write. Hmmm.
What were the two names the Eldar called the solar year - one way considered astronomically, and one way when the seasonal changes in vegetation were primarily considered?

I'll have to team up with somebody on this one... I think their term for the astronomical one was 'loa' - meaning 'sun-round' or something like that. I don't recall the seasonal one (except that they observed six seasons instead of four, didn't they?).

Sure!
Val, you got the "loa" one right, now there's one more to get. It's specified in the Appendices.

Say, Spock, do you mind taking this right now, and give these folks a new question? I gotta run right now; haven't got time to research a new question. Valandil, I am surprised you couldn't get this last question!

I couldn't find "where" he was laid to rest, just that he was and the beds for M&P were placed next to him.
