looks like I have chosen a difficult one or maybe not so difficult, but..
the one I'm looking for, I don't know if there are more clues to give, but it is a bisentence, and there are others who also think of the suggestion, but Imrhail is the only name written..

I thought it was the one that mallondwen said about retreating to Minas Tirith or Dol Amroth or Dunharrow and sit like children on sand castle while the tide comes in.

pytt, I'm not sure what you mean... as Imrahil talks only 3 times during the last debate. 2 of the time were quoted here. The third is not a suggestion Gandalf opposes. So...?

no, it is not like that. sorry if I have explained it wrong, which I ceartainly have..., but it is not like a quote in that way. it is somehting others and Imrahil says, only Imrahil is mentioned, and Gandalf says that will aware Sauron of Frodo and Sam.

May I suggest that Pytt by his own admission may not have explained it correctly in English and after such a continued confused question, he either reword it or withdraw.
I say this with consideration for Pytt as I too have asked difficult questions but I'm not dealing with a second language.

okeday, new question:

How does Sam locate Frodo when he is held captive in Dol Guldor? What does he [Sam] say, exactly?

I hope this does not prove to be as tricksy as the last question, but I too am looking for something in particular.

Grey ship, grey ship, do you hear them calling,
The voices of my people that have gone before me?
I will leave, I will leave the woods that bore me;
For our days are ending and our years failing.
I will pass the wide waters lonely sailing.
Long are the waves on the Last Shore falling,
Sweet are the voices in the lost Isle calling,
In Eresëa, in Elvenhome that no man can discover,
Where the leaves fall not: land of my people forever!”

Gandalf

He had give up looking for Frodo and sat down in the corridor below the towers top room. Actually he sang old childish tunes out of the Shire and snatches of Mr. Bilbo's rhymes that came into his mind. His last tune started "Beyond all towers strong and high"

That is good. I would have said it, haven't you beat me in the race, Spock.

OH, now that's unfair. "In western lands beneath the Sun the flowers may rise in spring. the trees may bud the waters run the merry finches sing or there maybe 'tis cloudless night and swaying beeches bear the Elven-stars as jewels white amid their branching hair. Though here at journey's end I lie in darkness buried deep beyond all towers strong and high beyond all mountains steep, above all shadows rides the sun and stars for ever dwell I will not say the day is done nor bid the stars farewell."
