Ah bropous, I don't think PJ will have to add any further symbolism to the Paths of the Dead sequence. Tolkien made sure that was obvious.

And yes you are right, about the Liv Tyler scenes vs the origional story. And yet I still take my hat off to PJ for the wonderful job done.
