Uh... What was the name of the beloved Calormene (I think there's only one, but you may be able to make a case for a different one)?

You may have to wait for a while before I remember his name. I remember the "he called me Beloved" bit, but I can't think of his name.

Perhaps someone else can?

I was just thinking of all the friends of Narnia saying how "they almost love this young warrior!"

stupid idiot rule.

His name came to me in the end!
He's called Emeth.
Yes, we're talking about the same young warrior, who was also called 'beloved' by Aslan when he met him.

What's the idiot rule? 90 seconds between posts?

yep.
I usually pick this one right after I get done with a post somewhere else, so it turns out I've not waited the right amount of time.

You've got the answer! You go!

Which two coins are common in Narnia? (And I mean Narnian coins, not foreign ones.)

If others are mentioned than the two I'm thinking of, I'll accept those as well, if I'm given the reference.

LIONS and TREES!

They fell out of the pockets of Lord.. Octavian? On the Island of Deathwater.

That last part was just to see how much I've retained from my + 50 readings of the books in my past.

I had to check that in the book to be able to comment on it - I looked for Octavian but couldn't find it, then found that it should be Octesian.

But Octesian didn't get as far as to Deathwater Island, Eustace found his armring in the cave where he became a dragon.
The lord who died on the Island of Deathwater, was Lord Restimar.

And now I've spoilt those as Trivia Questions for a long while

Anyway, Lions and Trees is correct!

Well... Apparently, I need to read up on my seven Narnian noble lords.

What did Puddleglum use as a mug in Harfang?

The porter says, "You needn't mention it over at the House. The silver will keep on getting over here, and it's not my fault."

As a hint.

It was a "salt-cellar", which I'm taking to mean a salt-shaker. When I hear cellar, I'm thinking... "storehouse in basement".

To me, a cellar is the same kind of room ... so a salt-cellar must be some small "room" or container for the salt, in other words a salt-shaker.

You'd better try me with another one, then - or try whoever else who might want to join us ...

Edit:
And then I read your comment over in the Teacup Cafe, where you say that I should have a go anyway.
OK then.

Which of the seven lords Caspian was searching for, did he find first?
(Possibly too easy, but never mind ...)

Perhaps that was his full name, and he only was known under the short version?
Bern it is. Your go!

Well, the "Lord" was just his title.

Oh, I get it! Yes... of course that was his full name, elipses and all!

Okay, question:
What was the name of the dwarf who was not "for the dwarfs!" in The Last Battle?
