Not to be rude, but I think that starting two "who likes..." threads is enough, really. I think we can assume that the people visiting this forum like The Hobbit and everything about it, or they wouldn't be in the forum.
I think the best idea if you wish to pursue conversation about people's likes and dislikes regarding The Hobbit, you should ask these questions in the "favorites" thread (scroll down to it, it's on the first page of this forum). You can ask a new question every few days if you want to and see what kind of responses you get.
Otherwise, if new threads kept getting started like this, we'd conceivably have a separate thread on who likes each character and aspect of the book, and that is unnecessary.

(BTW, just for future reference, it should be "send a post to the thread," not the other way 'round.
