Strider Can dwarfs sing?

This might me placed in the wrong forum but...

Can dwarfs sing? Wouldn't that get in the way of a LotR musical?

Certainly Dwarves can sing! They did in the Hobbit!

Of course dwarves can sing, most likely they sound like old Norse Warriors singing battle songs but non-the-less Dwarves do sing IMO.

I'm sure they can sing well enough. Hobbits are fond of music, and Bilbo would have mentioned the fact in his book if it wasn't good music.

who says that drunk people can't sing very well? I would also think that since dwarves drink more frequently than we do in present times that they would have much more resistance to the effects of alcohol. I mean, it's probably the best source of something free of disease to drink.

Why would they be drunk all the time?

Besides, I've heard the Dwarves sing quite well, not just passably.

i think this ought to be in ME forum,

i would have thought that dwarves would be a cross between viking war songs, and Klingon Opera

Dont tell me what I cannot do

Two men are on a Island, they both see a "monster", one sees a bright light, and the other sees a dark cloud

My name bares no reference to the music artist.

I'd pay to see a dwarf who can sing soprano. And tap dance.

Yes dwarfs can sing...they just often choose not to

Yes dwarfs sing...but as he is the only one who appears in LotR it is only important that Gimli be able to sing. As written, The One Ring only calls on Gimli to sing once in The Winds Of Change...no dwarf solos.
