yeah most of the reviews here in london have been pretty dismal. I don't think that I'll be going to see it.

For a Tolkien Buff then its a good thing to go and watch, however its still very long even after they trimmed it down. but its still fun to watch and is another representation of Tolkien's world.

... it's a musical... YOU CAN'T HAVE A LORD OF THE RINGS MUSICAL!!! you could probably have a silmarillion musical though... only the creation bit with all the singing from the Ainur.
I just can't see it. A bunch of orcs prancing about and singing... just sickening.
