heh, no problem...

he was mainly waiting fer the ship rather than do too much,

trouble was since he was nominally interacting it began to look like he was a zombie / sluggard or possibly a dustin hoffman style 'rainman character' or something ?

But the action's a foot now so he can find his feet a bit methinks!

*imagines the entwife alone on deck whilst at sea, on the night watch!, as all the moisture from the beer and rum soaked deck is slowly absorbed into her roots ...

at the start of the night-watch she is conciousencley beadily eyed on look out ...

her roots slowly spread out a bit more ... now she's gently beginning to sway ...
leaves a glowing and a a red sphere almost of a halo beginnming to spin around her head...

roots reaching out for more ...slowly dancing to the rythms of the sea ....

... was that a hiccup?

...........time and the night passes ..........

the entwife is found fast asleep-

- coiled happily around the mast, slurring "youh a good friend masty-matey! ... a *hup* solid friend !" a big smile on her face..

... still, bit of a shame she missed that boat last night ..

... you know the one what with the holy wine an all! ...

yeah i look forward to it Entwife! (hopes she doen't mind me just imagineing like that - i.e. niot using her charcter just conjecturing here in da dic thread )

best, BB

what happened to the script style? I seem to remember a point being made about script style posting.... is there anyone else the rest of us cannot use???

kinda makes it hard to script post if there are off-limit characters...

best, BB
No, he isn't off limits. What I meant, is we are the only ones who have used him. He was mainly our old captain's second character, but she died, became a vampire and went off to comtemplate undeadness. Flannery often gets forgotten because he isn't someone's character, he's an all character. So sometimes, he gets left out. But no he's not off limits, by all means use him. Makes sure you know what time of day it is though.

There are no off-limits characters in this game. You are of course entitled to request editing if someone makes your character do something they wouldn't. This is why we always ask for character bios and that you try and read the thread. I know not everyone will, but it is important to know the characters in a game where you can use other people's. My advce would be if you don't know how a character would react or what they'd do in the situation, don't use them. That way no one gets upset.

well, i am fine with the game style, could be fun ... i am kinda wary of people postin too much fer jack at the mo tho' till i have developed him more ...
Like I said. If someone posts him OOC then do tell them so they know for next time.

Just so you know why I use other characters.

The game needs some direction, and so I will normally try and put people in places, or situations, to give them something to do. It means the game doesn't get too slow or boring. Plus as EXK is the cap'n, I will need to give you all orders or ye'll run wild.

I beg ye pardon friend, I find that hard to believe.

We're a friendly lot. Ask us nicely, I'm sure we'll oblige.

These hilarious scenaro is entirely possible You are free to write it if conditions are right. When the buzz wears off the poor thing is likely to have her canopy hanging over the edge of the Nal. This is supposed to be a humourous RPG aint it?

Well... that's not quite accurate. Technically speaking he is one of my characters. Eruviel (our old cap'n) needed a vampire character so I volunteered to create one for her and Ignatius Bob happened.

But I'm a lazy writer who's using too many characters at once anyway so he remains a generally public character.

Sorry...I should have clarified that...those dudes are NPCs, basically his "Guard of the Blue Tree" or something like that...is it all right to NPC that many?

BB, when you say Jack is gone, you don't mean permanently?

I don't want Enelya to run after him and merely find empty space

how about 8 get killed and the best two (almost) royal guards survive?

else it's a potential mutiny power trip with 10 fully armed guards on board ... and that's ere Jack boards!

we could do with a big violent shindig, methinks
