I'm actually looking forward to this more than the Amazon series...
'War of the Rohirrim', an animated Middle Earth series.

The article seems to hint at a certain disagreement for the rights between media giants. Not sure whether that'll end well for the copyright owner. Media giants do have a habit of exceeding their rights...

Guess all that will be left up to the lawyers. As for me, I kind of just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and will look forward to it and whatever else comes out of this 'mining'.

Ah yes, as fans we'll be quite spoilt for choice indeed. Getting Middle-earth not from one source but even from two at the same time is quite unheard of so far.
