Thick vines incircled the beastly apparation, and reached farther.
"Oops."

"Alliwin!!! Get out of the way! You're behind the thing, and the card's range includes you as the enemy!"

Melia went into a trance of some sort and she slowly began to see something come into view.

Melia awoke with a jolt from her trance to see a man threatening them.

"Very good, Kirav. But he will not be defeated so easily." He took his long whip, and hit his opponent with a single thorn. He then made sure that he was bound tight by the rope and then he dragged him into the forest. He came back a couple of minuites later.

IC:

Two horses were quietly tracking through the forest together. One was a chestnut colored stallion that had a murderous look in his eyes, even now. The other was a grey mare with mismatched eyes. One was blue, and one was an unnatural green. She was leading the stallion towards the noises she heard, when she suddenly stopped. Straight ahead of them was a group of people, most of them looked like elves. One of them was fingering a card, another looked like she had just come out of a trance, and one man, the mare could tell even from this distance, was a shape-shifter. Another man carrying a whip came out of the brush and met them.
What a strange group The mare thought, looking on. Finally, when she felt that these people would not harm her, she stepped out and the stallion followed. They looked surprised at first to see two riderless horses walking up to them so calmly. Then the mare shifted into a woman with long brown hair and the same strange eyes.
"Hmmm...this is a strange group." She said quietly. "Well, no need for long introductions. My name is Sathien, and I've been watching you all for awhile."

My friend has a spell book, and she let me barrow it since I am an enchanter in this.)
