Eglairwen walked up to Kalile wearing a pink dress. (OOC: Like the one on my av) She smiled when she saw Kalile. then she turned to the others. "I know who you are. I heard you talking. But you don't know who I am yet. I am Eglairwen." She said.

[Kalile]

Coinkydinkally (), (I mean ) I already did. Now it's your turn!

"Greetings, Eglairwen," Kalile said, very confused at the sudden link to her dreams, which had always seemed prophetic, and the amount of people who cared. What is going on, here??? she thought, her head whirling. (Can anyone read minds in this one?)

[Aewionen]

Nienna was taking a walk when she ran into her cousin, Alialei. "Suliad Nienna! It is great to see you after all these long years." "And to you as well Alialei," Nienna laughed, "Yes, it has been a long time, say 9 years?" "Yes, if not longer!" As the two elves talked, they looked as though they were saying happy things, but they were not. "You actually saw your mother's death? That must have been terrifiying!" Alialei's face broke into sorrow. Nienna wasn't sure how they got into the subject, but she wanted to get out of it. "yes, it was," she said, "How is your mother?" Alialei got the hint and answered Nienna's question, "She is doing well, but I have been seeing strange things when I am around her." "What things?" Nienna asked. Alialei was known to have hunches or "visions" that usually came true. "I...I...see her lying on the floor covered in blood...a..and." Alialei had no time to finish, for there was a scream coming from her house. The two girls ran and when they arrived, their was Alialei's mother, covered in blood. Just like she had explained what she had seen in her vision. "Oh, no..." Nienna could say no more.

[Kalile]

Warrl sniffed the air, and then his ears perked up in a perfect imitation of Kalile's own. Someone was hurt, or frightened nearby... the echoes of the scream still hung upon the air. After a moment, Warrl bounded off between the legs of others, Kalile following more slowly because of her greater size.

Kaelin stopped in his tracks. Someone needed help, help he was duty bound to give. He turned briskly on his heel, ignoring the dark looks cast at his slightly blue skin, and marched off toward the houses almost at a run.

Both of them were so preoccupied that they ran right into eachother, landing in a tangle of armour, white cloth, and long silver-blonde hair.

Alialei fell to the ground. Nienna didn't know what to say, "Alialei, I...was this what you saw?" A faint nod and a weak yes came from her cousin. "Did you see anything else?" Nienna asked. Her cousin's eyes suddenly grew as she turned her head towards the closet, it was slightly open.

[Silme*Christian]

Whats is the closet? whats in the closet?!!!

[Aewionen]

ooc: lol...dun dun dun

Nienna walked slowly over to the closet and when she was around 5 feet away, the door opened even more. A dark figure with what appeared to be a knife, ran out and into the woods. Nienna was knocked over by the stranger as he ran past. When she looked in the direction of where he went, he was gone. Nienna looked back at Alialei. Both of them looked at each other in silence.

[Kalile]

Kalile was struggling to disentangle herself from the paladin when a man in black came rushing toward them. He jumped lightly over them, just as Kaelin sat up. His helm was in his hand, and the pointed decorations caught the man in the leg, tearing off a bit of cloth and staining the helm with blood.
The assassin landed badly, but recovered and ran off.


Ooc: Too bad it wasn't his waist: he would have been cut in two. And half an assassin is just an ass. Heehee.

Nienna stood up and went out the door. She didn't want to leave her friend alone but she wanted to find out who that man was. With a sigh, she went over and sat next to Alialei. "He is gone," Nienna told her, "Do you know who he was?" She didn't respond. Nienna frowned as she looked at Alialei's mother. "Why would anyone want to do this? Why..." Nienna stopped. She looked a dagger that was beside Alialei's mother. It was one that she had seen before, but she couldn't remeber where.

[Kalile]

"What was that?" Kalile asked, as Kaelin gave her a hand up.
I have no idea, but I'm going to find out. Are you all right, lady? (Since Kaelin is a dark elf, he'll be in dark blue)
Kalile had been looking at the paladin carefully, and suddenly asked, "Is your name Kaelin, by any chance?"
"It is..." The half elf answered warily, and jumped when Kalile threw her arms around him.
"Kaelin! I never thought I'd see you again! So you're a paladin now, are you?"
Kaelin, who had by now recognized his friend, gently pushed her away. " We will talk later. For now, there is someone in need." and with that began walking in the direction from where the man came, Kalile following.

[Legoles]

Gladeiel and her sister Aladrian[the absent minded] ran after the others. She saw Kalile hug the dark elf, knowing that he was a friend and not to be harmed. She went over to the mother that was laying on the ground. She walked up to her and listened for a pulse. "She is alive but just barely, I might be able to slow the bleeding a little and close the wounds, then we will wait. Will you let me help Alialei?"
No only a select few, which means no more of them unless I say it's ok, just so crazy things dont happen.

[Aewionen]

Nienna watched as Alialei nodded weakly and helped the elves that had come slow the bleeding. Nienna went over to the elf, "Thank you for helping," she said, "Might I ask what your name is?"

[Silme*Christian]

Silme ran to where she heared the screams. She saw a women lying down in a pile of blood. "Might I be of any asistance?" She asked. as she knelt by the helpless body.

[Kalile]

"It looks as if everything is being done to help this woman," Kalile said softly, when she arrived. Warrl was already there.
"We still have something they will need," her friend answered, brandishing the bloody cloth.


Ooc: Opportunity is knocking at the door, should we answer it?

(ie. This is a perfect excuse for a journey, that might even lead to something larger; like a network of assassins, or Aewionen finding out something about her family that would make her a target... something like that.)

ic: Nienna lookec at the ones that had just arrived. "What do you have?" she said quickly. Nienna wanted to see her aunt safe and sound.

[Kalile]

"We have a bit of the assassin's clothing, stained with his blood. He ran afoul of my helmet."
Kaelin lifted the helmet to reveal the pointed edges. "You can use it to track this assassin down; if none of you can, I, as a paladin, can track evil."

[Aewionen]

"That's great!" Nienna said, "When do we start?" Nienna wanted to find this assassin and kill him. She had never seen anyone make so much pain come into Alialei's heart before. Nienna would give anything to have the happy-go-lucky Alialei back.

[Kalile]

"First, I would know those who I travel with," the half elf answered steadily," For you will need me along, I promise you that."
