I have no idea what it is called in English, though I think the wacky professor (Magician's Nephew) called it 'stuff' if I translate it?

The King From Over The Sea?

Or was that his title?

Ah, ok. In the interest of moving along, I'll ask another question.

What was the name of the cabby's horse in The Magician's Nephew?

Alrighty to the Hecty or alrighty to your turn? I'll leave this one.. I know it but I feel like I've been selfish with the answers. I'll check again in a couple of days to keep it moving.

I hate it when I post without looking at all the posts. At least my last one fit wherever it was stuck.

Okay - I just want to say hi to everyone here, as I'm new (signed up yesterday and this is my 3rd post).

Since this thread has been inactive for about 6 months, I hope you don't all mind if I just take it by the reins and reactivate this thread.....

so I'll post a few questions. For a total of five points: tell me:

Name the two people (1 pt each) who have provided the voices for Aslan in both the BBC tv series and the Walden media/Disney movies; and

Name the actor (1 pt) to have appeared in both the BBC and Walden Media adaptions of the Prince Caspian book, and what roles did he play in each (1 pt each)?

Were we doing specifically book trivia? I think we all assumed we were. Other than that, I have no clue to those questions.

I certainly assumed so.

I think Liam Neeson is the Walden Aslan voice, and I also think that Warwick Davis is the name of the "double" actor - he played Nikabrik in the Walden movie, and I guess Mr Beaver in the BBC series.

When I have more time, I can find out about the other Aslan voice - but if you know off the top of your head, then shout!

Yeah, and it didn't really fit- too soft. I know he's been over-exposed, but c'mon, could there have been any choice other than James Earl Jones?

It's typecasting, like Morgan Freeman playing God.

James Earl Jones had already played Mufasa.. and Darth Vader... Two lions in one lifetime is enough and how can he play a God-character when he'd played an evil villain like Darth Vader??? I liked Liam Neeson for that choice.

Gollum

Ronald Pickup, Tim Rose, Ailsa Berk, and William Todd Jones all did aslan in the BBC versions. Liam Nieeson ( I know I spelt that wrong)Did his voice in the new prince caspian
Warwick davis played Reepicheep in the BBC prince caspian.(he also played Glimfeather in the Silver chair and I think he played Mr. beaver too.)
And in the new Prince Caspian he plays Nikkibrik.
I hope this is all correct

It's called acting.

Okay then, but if The-Emperor-Over-the-Sea ever gets a speaking role, it had better be JEJ.

That one I can agree with. Most of that was arguing for the sake of arguing.

Black Captain hasn't been on since June. I say someone got it right and ask another question.
