I really like all your drawings valandil; very inspirational. I have not drawn anything from Tolkien, I have made up my mind to do something now, thanks for the kick in the u kno what.

I think I will start a thread, so people could nominate which character they would like to see me draw; what is your choice, "devoted to the Valar".

Those are v groovy Karl. You have captured something there of the spirit of the age.

El tel, your drawings are ultra groovy too. Your style reminds me of Erol Otus. Hurin would a good model for you, I think. Maybe nailed to the walls of Angband.

Love your Rhudaur palace drawing, it's something close to what I was picturing, while reading.

mmm - i see the architecural but not the essence of the drawings ...

i'm glad to say (else i wouldn't post this) i did like the third - it had some feeling to it - tho'

- er ... who's the guy with massive rear??

as sketches i thought they were technically ok - but cold.

the last i liked because it had some life and action and told a story - the first i thought at best an interesting first draft.

-hope that is honest and not too critical Val-

-but i have genuinely enjoyed your fanfic - tho' it reminds me i am behind on it - and on Olmer's translation as well...

I would though, be interested when you put the full story and detail into a drawing to see what landscapes, direction and detail you envisage!
