Actually, Sinda aren't the most powerful elves... do you know how many Mirkwood Sindar were killed in the last war in the second age?

Yes, I am aware that the Sindar aren't as powerful as, say, the Noldor. However I am a Sinda, therefore I like the Sindar.

i don't think elves are suppose to be sad. In fact i found it nice that the elves were a little more happy. Besides it's not like they havent lived long enough, lol and it's their choice to move on to the undying lands it's not like they're being forced

Yeah, well I think Tolkien intended the story to be meant for kids, so the Elves were just kind of frolicky. (I just finished the Hobbit, so I was thinking the same thing.)
