Fili, Kili, and Thorin. Fili and Kili were cousins to Thorin, if I recall correctly, and perished along with Thorin at the Battle of the Five Armies because of that kinship.

So . . . you'd pick all the ones that die off immediately? I'd pick Balin, Gloin, and Thorin. Thorin could lead the fight and die heroically, and the other two would get all vengeful and fight harder!

Only FrodoFriend could be so cruel... I hadn't even thought about Gandalf... I'd replace one of the brothers with him.

If Gandalf is allowed, then he is deffinantly the one that you want fighting by your side. Thorin is also good in a fight. The third choise is a bit harder. I think I would have to go with Balin. I rather liked him

Noldor Lord,
I like your picks.
I would pick those guys in a flash but I think that Gandalf is not a dwarf and the title of this thing is "Concerning Dwarves" so I think he doesn't count. I would Kill Bilbo take his ring (Only joking) then get Thorin, Balin, and Fili. Fili because if I was ever in a pinch he die for me. Balin because he braved Moria in the LOTR and Thorin because that dwarf can kick some but and he is related to me.

Since it says concerning DWARVES that means no Gandalf.

i have to actually agree with thrain but would take kili instead.

Hey, if it was a matter of life and death . . . J/K, I would be very upset if any of the Dwarves died (when I first read the book I didn't believe my eyes at Thorin, Fili, and Kili's deaths). I would've bawled if it had been Bombur or Balin.

On second thoughts, I'd take Dwalin, Oin, and Bifur. They're just generic Dwarves, so I wouldn't be as upset if they died.

Gandalf

FrodoFriend you're cruel!

I would choose Balin, Thorin and Gandalf (of course).

I thought we understood that Gandalf is no dwarf and the question was which dwarf would you choose and thanks Afro-elf for backing me up this time.

If Gandalf doesn't count, then I'd take Thorin, Fili and Dori. Dori's always so nice that he'd stand right in front of me and I wouldn't have to do any fighting.

Wow Radagast we chose the sam guys.
However I have a new question if you could chose any members from the hobbit who would they be and why?
Gandalf (cause he is a wizard) Bilbo ( for the ring I'd steal from him) and Thorin ( cause he was super strong and tough and he would die for me because i'm his grandfather.)

Thorin, Fili, and Kili. I don't care that they died; they're loyal, F. and K. are young for dwarves, and they seem the type that would go with you to the very end.
