Hurrah for our brilliant moderators and admins!

Sister Golden Hair, I think you, Spock and all the rest of you are doing such a good job with the VERY difficult situation Entmoot can often be. Managing websites where thread topics can easily intersect and keeping calm through all the big Entmoot fights, trying to keep everything orderly, has got to be no picnic at all. I really, really appreciate all of your contribution.

I'm creating this thread here since it's the "Feedback" forum too, so people can thank the mods . We owe such a lot to all of you; it's too easy to forget . So thanks so much! You've made my experience on Entmoot a very positive one, and I thank you from my heart for working so hard for all of us.

I especially love it when you split topics.

Yes, thanks for the great work. Along with all the ones not mentioned that have contibuted over the years, or still do from time to time now.

Grey Wolf, I'm afraid the only tune I can imagine those words fitting with is "If I only had a brain," from The Wizard of Oz . Bad luck for me!

I totally agree with this.

And allow me to just clarify that this thank-you is supposed to include ALL the mods and admins, not just Sister Golden Hair and Spock. I didn't intend to leave anyone out- I was thanking everyone, and I think everyone here has been too .

The reason I mentioned Sister Golden Hair and Spock specifically by name is that I personally have seen them taking flak on the Entmoot forums. I'm not saying none of the other mods or admins has taken flak, but Sister Golden Hair and Spock are the ones I personally have seen taking a beating . . . so that's why I mentioned them by name. I was hoping to redress that some . . .

But I really do totally thank all the mods and admins . That was my reason for making the thread. Just letting you know, because I know I didn't make that clear in my original post .

That's one of the nasty jobs that somebody's got to do, which we're thanking them for . Including you! Or else . . .

Unfortunately, taking flak is a necessary result of the position. In fact, I'd say the defining aspect of a great moderator is the ability to take flak in stride. And they have done pretty well all in all.

I know, since I provide flak myself from time to time.

I've just gotten back, but in the face of such testimony, I can only assume the modding is of the calibre it was when I left.
