we could have a disclaimer notifying the caloremens that we are in no way shape or form trying to alienate the inhabitants of the south (even though they pretty much conquer narnia in the end)

and have that great sounding name with a ring to it

Good and Simple The Way to Go.

Apperantly Mr. Bmilder is too busy to check on the moot of late, but when he does, I made sure he knows...

that would be a good one if the forum includes all of C.S Lewis's works (which I hope it does * crosses fingers*)

on the other hand mine has a little imagination behind it

Narnia and the North(south, east, west)

How about something along the lines of The Lion's Mane?

I have now done something along the lines of a voting form on my homepage under the books/films page called Narnia vote. Try it out. It's in Excel (click on Open).

How about...The Tolkien Convert...? It was after all JRRT's persistent Christian witness to Lewis that got him "as far from atheism and the Church of England" but not farther!

Maybe "All Things Lewis" ?

Or, best of all, from THE LAST BATTLE: "Further up and further in!"?

or, THE Compleat Lewis

or, Aslan's Country?

I definitely vote yes, and I think the forum should just be called Narnia/C.S. Lewis.

It seems kind of weird to separate discussion of his life and other works from Narnia, as there surely won't be as much Narnia/C.S Lewis discussion as Tolkien discussion. Also, there are other fantasy type books he's written that we could discuss more easily if they had their own forum, like Till we Have Faces (my favorite), Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, That Hideous Strength, and Pilgrim's Regress.

I vote yes too, as I plan on acquiring all the Lewis books again real soon here. It's been an awful long time since I last read the books, but now's definitely the time to revive my old passion for them - the movie's gonna come out this fall!

NEWS FORM THE UNDERWORLD:

SGH has informed me that Ben has declared a C.S. Lewis forum the viable choice, and not just a Narnia forum.
