well if sister golden hair and kirinki are of similar age

and anduin and I of similar age

guess we would be elves compared to most of the posters here

I don't know how many of them would remember the song by america

or the land of the lost ( for anduin)

Alas where are the days of G.I. Joe with Kung Fu grip

K.C. and the sunshine band

space 1999

the orginal star trek

alas such is the lot of elves to recall the past with pleasure and sorrow

The Moodies are my favorite. 15 concerts.

George and Paul? That's easy. Merry and Pippin

If you get Readers Digest there's an interveiw with Paul in the November one. My seven year old sister loves The Beatles, she has a cd with 27 of their best hits and we listened to that before I took it down to my room in my cd player and put it in my desk, wicked I know(blast you admins need to get that evil face back in here).

Exactly. Elves from the First Age or even before... Sigh!!

Anyway, if anyone should be Legolas I figured you, Mr Afro-elf. Remember nobody knows his color of hair.
No, what I really mean is that vitality.

I always connected Sister with Galadriel, but I can see your logic there, Sis. How about Indis? (Ooops: now Finrod is grandson. This is not easy!)

Treebeard

People don't know who I am? I really have to start posting in the Tolkien forums again .

I think I may be Treebeard, since this is Entmoot after all. But I do appreciate the suggestion of Gandalf . On the other hand, I may have to be a Hobbit of some sort due to my age and stature .

MM is definitely Elrond.

Tesseract - Pippin, for reasons stated in previous posts.

Inoldonil and ringbearer could be Elven loremasters of some sort.

Darth Tater - Barliman Butterbur . Well-intentioned, but tends to screw things up .

Fat middle - Sam Gamgee. He's always reliable and can be counted on to do his part.

More later... (and I will try to post more often in these forums, really...)

yeah! we don't know his hair texture either. Maybe he had dreadlocks

being an elf of course the clean well kept kind.

A little known fact: the orginal meaning of silvan is the same as the word rastafari. so when gallion and the guard got drunk maybe it was just a metaphor for something else?

I think in the hobbit thranduil was blonde. so IF legolas took after his dad then MAYBE he was.

Yeah, thanks I could go for Legolas

Sure, but what would they get stoned on? Rolled-up Athelas reefers?

All the world loves a villain.

Imagine Middle Earth without the ‘nasties’ !

I'm sure some of you must be secret Goblins

I identify a lot with Faramir. I'm sarcastic and brash on the computer but off it, oh well.

I read something about Faramir possessing some common quality with his brother but it moved him more to pity than to...something. I identify most with this sentence.

I am also very quiet and patient. I have never lost my temper and prefer to think more than I speak and think too before doing so.

Inolodil is gollum, of course! (that is the only schizophrenic character in LOTR)

Afro elf... I'd say you're a dark skinned ent-with a bush sprouting out of your head. The imagery is just too great.

I wouldn't equate myself with a black numenorean... More likely a Noldor. (Ick. I hate noldor, but the similarity is there) The black numenoreans were despots only interested in empire building. The noldor were smart, good with words, and incredibly haughty.

That sounds more like me, although I could also be thingol, and he's a character I like much better. Or Eol.

I love it

I chose black numenoreans they were haughty also. Weren't they the ones who did not want Numenorean blood tainted with that of middle men. I also felt being of the upper crust of gondorian society they would be rather well educated in the arts.
Giving them a condesending wit towards inferiors

I don't know why I never saw you as a fan of the noldor, maybe thats why i thought BN.
