Just to reiterate... it was NOT the SPCA's policy to take a dog back once it has been officially adopted by a new owner. That action was taken by one person on her own, and completely against SPCA policy. It is normally perfectly safe to adopt a dog from the SPCA. I encourage everyone to do so.

Because of the turmoil and strife of adopting Buddy, I'm considering renaming him. I can't think of a suitable name for him at this time.

I'm asking for suggestions from the Moot members for dog names. Dogs usually respond best to 2 syllable names.

I like Huan.. but then Huan was a wolf hound, so it doesn't fit really. JD and Jonathan have already suggested Finrod. Somehow, I don't think that's right either. Though.. it would be nice to be able to say to SGH that Finrod lives with me.
