I feel sorry for the next 3 books coming on to big screen. But they better not screw up the 3rd book. That one is my fave. Especialy since there is a werewolf in it. I hope Lupen comes back to teach cause he is my favorit character with Sirius Black.

Third book is best, finally someone who agrees.

I have some questions, I know almost everything but these:

Where is the marauders map at the end of the fourth book?(I almost typed age then)

Why did dumbledore smile when harry said Vol.. You Know Who... could touch him?

I think the next book is supposed to be coming out in August, but that is only a rumor, others say that since she got rich she got "writers block"
I have the first video, even though it is not so good as book

Next film out on 15th November

What order are everyones faves?

I refuse to rank them, since they're part of one big story, and not just a continuous "series"...

I like the 3of 4 the best then the 1 and the second wasn't very good.

about the part when Dumbledor smiled, my mother read this book too and she had theory about it but I don't think it's true.( about something that might happend to Voldemort )

I loved the books!!! The movie is good too, but because they had to cut bits of it out I prefer the books.

Not meaning to offend anyone, but it really bugs me when people say that Harry Potter is corrupting kids. I'm a Christian, but I don't see anything wrong with the books as long as people don't take them too seriously. The first book was labelled to be aimed for 9-15 years olds, because that kind of age group won't believe what they're reading. I don't think younger children should read the books, unless their parents have read them beforehand.

Yeh I was desturbed when I saw people outside of a church making a big bombfire burning all those books. But ofcourse all they are realy doing is also supporting the book by buying it. I mean arent they trying to get rid of it so why buy it and support it with your mony just to destroy them.

Not to mention that when people do something like that - it makes what every they are demostrating against that much more appealing to people. People naturally becoime curious as to what the big deal is and so they go see the movie or read the books. Hollywood loves it when religious people stand outside theaters and say a movie is evil. It's made many movies that would have been in and out of theaters in a blink of an eye into movies that made tons of money instead.

But ofcourse Christain or not you have to know by now there are (unfortunatly) no such living thing as a witch or a wizard.
But they seem to sometimes do it just to draw attention to themselves. And I agree with you jurseydevil it does make more people interested in the book.

On the previous page of I have a post that has a link to a CNN article that says that Harry Potter will not be out this summer and may not be out until June 2003.

Also - Christ Columbus "has told the studio he wants to bring his family home after living in Blighty for more than a year."

'Potter III' director still not set: Columbus bows out

I read that the book 5 might come out this summer from the kids post in the newspaper. But I guess JK Rowling is ither getting lazy or trying to raise suspession or that is one hell of a long book.

That would be cool if it did. I just haven't heard anything since it was announced not to expect it this year.

Book 5 is not coming out until 2003...it was in a newspaper article here.

I saw the movie today, glad I didn't waste my money to see it in the theater.
