i dont remember, i think it was somewhere around the 3rd or 4th books, anyway.

chamber of secrets, ginny, so they wouldnt kill the basilisk with their crowing.

yay, the fact that i have not only checked this twice within one day, but have answered in detail the question and not only started but use a lot this thread, all point to the obvious conclusion: i am a nerd!!!!! just a little bit. . .

anyhoo: (2-parter) how is a basilisk egg made, and, if spock will allow, what is a basilisk in other mythological forms (how else is it depicted)?

halfway, if no one gets it within a few day, you go, unless you mean you don't know what I mean, uh, ok, in harry potter, a basilisk is a giant snake, what else has been called a basilisk in mythology?
