A butterfly larva - unfortunately I don't know what butterfly..

A bush-cricket or katydid (fam. Tettigoniidae) in the boat house

Someone else was also interested in the flying ants.. It might be a Tetragnatha-spider, not sure..

Absolutely awesome morning shot. Not to mention the other shots which are perfect too.

Our tent the first morning.. The sun was shining, but the mountains were behind a cover of fog.

I love the mountains there.. Although I prefer Sarek to the Kebnekaise area, but that's mostly because of the people (no people in Sarek, lots in Kebnekaise

Nah, not sure you should.. It's the same mountain range on the Norwegian side, it's just that they have the higher mountains.

But both are absolutely beautiful countries - so I agree, you should try to make it to both.

(and there will be more photos - just have to go through all 400 of them first..

Here's some pictures from my last trip to China in 2006, in Beijing, and Chongqing & the Yangtze River :O)

Legs and Feet on the Tiananmen Square, on China's Independence Day.

Beneath the watchful gaze of Mao Tse-Tung..

Cop? Outfit? He seemed rather young..

These were some cool teens who insisted on taking a picture of me (white guy.. spooky!

), and so I insisted on taking one of them..

Old eyes.

Me closing one eye, in the blurry camera haze of the night, and a few drinks..

Father and Son?

A guy, a mattress and lots of concrete.

This is taken from the Summer Palace in Beijing, out across what is an artificial lake (or at least was!)
