Advent Rising: Orson Scott Card's contribution to video games

Anyone here heard of Advent Rising? It's an Xbox/PC game that's on my most wanted list, along with Bioware's Jade Empire.

For those of you who don't know, Advent Rising is a sci-fi action/adventure game coming out next year, and it looks really revolutionary. Of course it's a visually stunning game, but it's also going to use some very interesting physics, and all-new control scheme, and what already looks like a very intriguing plot, especially since it's been largely put together by Nebula award winning Orson Scott Card (author of Ender's Game).

I can't do it justice, but basically it's set in a futuristic environment on a distant planet inhabited by Humans. What the Humans don't know is that every other space-exploring race shares a common mythology of the saviors called, well, Humans. A race called the Seekers, posing as benevolent explorers, are building an army and searching from colony to colony looking for the Humans, whom they plan to completely eradicate. A religious second race evolved from the sea has become aware of the Seeker's plan, and send a small embassy of their people to the human planet in order to warn them of their danger. Leader of the human representatives to greet the first alien visitors is a war-hero, who's younger brother and co-pilot is the main character. The protagonist during the course of the game discovers an amazing human potential deep within his own mentality that delivers him god-like powers. The game-play is largely made up of action sequences featuring these psionic powers, along with a variety of guns, melee moves, and land/air exploration, including some amazing chase scenes in vehicles.

It's coming out some time next year, and I'm really looking forward to it.
