Why not get him to show himself. We know of only two orcs still alive, though there may be more. If they chase after him, I can pot them with arrows, and if they do not, what have we lost?"

Lily "Of course it might go wrong. All courses may run ill. But we seem to be on a very hot spot and doing something constructive now is beter than thinking of the absolute right thing to have done hours later."

Daelan "I like the fact that you do not cry up your companions' goodness and stick to the tactical situation. Very well, I will hide behind that large bush and when you wave at me, so, I will stick my head up and shout an insult. If you and your comrades are true, and attack my pursuers, I will join in, but not else."

At once two orcs rise up and charge him while another sends a shaft after him, He ducks and it misses him*

Lily *One of the orcs runs right by the bush whee she is hiding. She stabs low ith the right-handed blade and for the face with the left-handed, poisoned blade*

*You miss with the right blade but connect with the left. Orc fails poison check, doubles up in agony*

Eothain hits with his arrow, doing 5 HP on Orc #2 and disrupting his next arrow

Snorri fails his initiative, takes 2 HP damage from orc #3, passes his poison check, does 5 HP damage on his first stroke. Orc #3 fails his courage check and runs away*

Snorri *fells his Orc with another stroke of his axe

Éothain *also hits with his second arrow, killing the Orc. There are now no live Orcs within a mile

Lily *When she has finished looting her Orc she goes over to Snorri and watches him loot his. She produces the dagger. "Master Snorri, will you cast an eye on this? I found it on that dead Orc yonder but it looks not like Orcish work to me."

Snorri *turns dagger over in his hands* "Orcish work? Nay. This is a work of my people, of Moria in times long ago. See the maker's mark? This was done by Theobald the Gemwright. Strange, he usually only worked in metal for brooches and other like setting for his dainties.Keep this dagger safe, chield We need to take another look at it when the light is better and when we arrive at a well I wot of."
